Professor Emilye Crosby appeared on a recent episode of WXXI’s Need to Know, discussing how and why educators should address the Black Lives Matter movement in the classroom.
Professor Crosby has been a member of the Geneseo faculty since 1995. She studies African-American history and the history of civil rights. Her book A Little Taste of Freedom won the McLemore Prize from the Mississippi Historical Society in 2006.
